I just wanted to tell you that you shouldn't feel like a "worthless douchebag", especially here in a community specifically for people dealing with mental illness.
If you ever need to talk, I'm here! I don't know if you've been to see a professional, been diagnosed, or prescribed medication, but at least the first one would be a really good idea!
It could be a chemical imbalance that you have not control over so seeing a doctor might help quit a bit. I hated the idea when I was your age but when I finally did go, things got better. I still have to force myself to think positive and to stay busy "if" I can do these to things I don't concentrate on my depression as much.
you are not worthless by any means. you have no idea how many people have to deal with mania, bi-polar and manic depression. its tough to overcome and it really does test your physical and mental abilities to be a strong person, but you can do it

Yeah, unfortunately it's around the age of 17-20 that a person begins to feel all those terrible thoughts rambling around inside their head. At around 18 was when my gf at the time began begging me to see doctors and try out meds. I'm 25 now and still looking for the right dosage of the right pills

I've officially come to the realization that I know no one. Internet comments just made me the most estatic i have felt in a while- and im happy to have found this website. :)

I've done none of those things. I can never find where my depression stems from and sometimes it seems to come and go in stages
I feel like i wouldn't even have anything to say if I went to a professional D:
