my grandma asked me to make her a cd today, i told her i'd have it done most likely by tomorrow but i never even attempted to start it today. she'll probably ask if i got a chance and what am i supposed to tell her really? i could just say "no, i never got around to it," but that insinuates that i was busy. i can't really give the real reason for

I was thinking last night after you told me that you were homesick about how hard it must be to have your heart in two places at once, particuarly when they're all the way across the country. I don't envy you one bit.

But take comfort in knowing that you'll be back in California soon :). And also that you can always come back here to visit. I'm so happy that I was able to help you get out here (and I'll do it again if you ever need it), and even happier that we've been able to actually hang out. I feel much closer to you.. like I was able to consider you a best friend before, but now it feels like reality. I'll miss you so much more than I thought before, but I'll be happy to know that you're happy, and that's what's important. It's not like you're not a phone call or text message away anyway.

Cheer up and look forward to this Sunday! I'm not California, but I can be some awesome company :D
