Yeah, it's pretty cool. Definitely a better interface than other phones.
But I'm not sure it's a lifestyle choice. I'm glad I didn't wait in line or anything for it; I went to an AT&T store last night after work and there were like 100 people waiting.
So I went to an Apple store this morning and walked out like 5 minutes later with one.
My mom was all worked up that the Apple store traffic was making her Nordstrom coffee bar experience more hectic than it needed to be. Maybe it's a Silicon Valley thing though.
It's not like Seattle is some low-tech place; there's that scrappy upstart called "Microsoft" up here. And Nintendo. (Oddly enough, both are next door to my new company.)
But maybe the nerds only showed up at 6PM on Friday (or earlier, to wait in line and re-enact their favorite scenes from Star Wars), when they went on sale. Now it's "normal" people buying them.

Anyway. I heard iphones are basically sex in plastic form. And they pay your rent FOR you all while performing complex surgical procedures.
