My SF/European vacation

The past two weeks are an absolute blur of planes, trains, buses, and long stretches of hiking in a European wonderland. I can't believe the trip is over and how well everything just came off. Here are the highlights of the trip.

I'm glad you two had such an amazing trip! While CA couldn't compare to the rest of your vacation, we would have loved to have had you and Ben stay longer!

wow, awesome! I consider myself to be organized to a fault sometimes but I can't imagine being able to plan and prepare for a trip like this! You guys make it look so easy! Tell me it is!

Sounds like an amazing trip! So glad you finally got to see a bit of mainland europe. And doing it hiking is brilliant as well - you get a much deeper sense of the place than you would get in a tour bus, or one of those whirlwind europe trips that so many people do.

That's *exactly* what we where thinking. Even though Lux is a tiny country, I really feel that I know it now. And I just can't get over how wonderful the forests are over there. As you can see from the pictures, there is something story book-like in them.

Ben picked a wonderful way to spend a vacation. Instead of Africa in a plane, we got Europe on foot. Less ground to cover, for sure, but still wonderful. Plus, I have a better bag now for smooshing into a Cessna, just sayin'.... ;-)
