So, this weekend I set off for Lake Atitlan, supposedly one of the most beautiful places in the world. I took some huge old tour bus that cost Q35, about 5 bucks.

So I realized I've been resizing my pictures wrong and a bunch of them are crappy quality. Oh well it's a cheap camera so they aren't that great anyway. Here is MAX QUALITY.

The last week I have been going on little tours of various ruins of churches in Antigua. Most of these were destroyed by the massive earthquakes in the late 1700s when Antigua was pretty much destroyed and they moved the capital to Guatemala City. Last night the fun continued with a visit to the fair that is set up in town till Sunday. That's right, a real fair with all the rides we have back home including that one with the cages that rotate around the hotdog shaped thing that itself is rotating and is probably called the vominator or something. Yesterday the festivities continued with a big merengue concert in the park, which was also packed with billions of people.
