This is a translation of an older post by igrick. For more comprehensive and full list of lj-tags please refer to this entry by fiddlingfrogFolks, when we've added lj-like option, some users asked us to give descriptions for all available LJ-tags. I've promised to do it, but unfortunately I only got time to do it now. Hope I'm not too late and this will be useful

Ha, so this is where the info on the lj-lang tags came from. I did my own version of this a few months ago, partly as a reference to myself and partly as a guide to others. My source for the lj-lang instructions was another Russian journal who must have copied it from igrick.

Your is, as expected, much better than a simple translation of igrick's post :)

Did all the tags work okay for you? I had some trouble making the lj-embed work: the video was very small unless I used the iFrame code straight from YouTube. It had the width and height parameters that way and that contradicted what igrick was saying...

Does lj-map support adding maps from Google Maps Engine? I keep getting "invalid lj-map tag"...
