So on Sunday I drove out to Duncanville (~30 mins) to do some curling. It was a beginner's class where we basically went and learned the basics and such. It was pretty interesting. They went over the basics of the game. Rules, what different things mean, scoring, etc. During the safety part, they made the statement that "someone will fall". ( Read more... )

TOMORROW I GO TO CAROUSEL

On the 11th we had our first team soccer practice on January 8. After about 10 minutes of actual practice (I did warm up/stretch), I was done with soccer until at least next fall. It was a overall a pretty good break. I got some pretty sweet things for christmas. I drove down on the 24th, did the christmas thing on the 25th and that afternoon rode with my sister over to her place in Jackson. So I've officially moved into the new group that I'll be working with. It's a pretty far cry from what I was doing before (strictly support) in that now I'll be doing lots of actual coding (programming for you non-techies). Ok, back on the wagon. I've decided to sign up with a personal trainer to kick start myself down the path I was heading on before I tore my right calf (that soccer thing again). On the first visit he did the whole body-fat percentage thing, which I'm at 19%, and my goal is to get down to 12-14%. All I really want to do is lose the gut and tone ( Read more... )
