Summary:
After months of molestation and a destroyed apartment, Jaejoong should have been quite nervous to discover that his new roommate was not exactly normal. But strangely, he’s okay with it. At least, he thinks he is...
NOTE: My second TVXQ/Minjae fic, but my first chaptered fic for them. It's a supernatural fic, but it's more humorous, fun, and cute. So if you're looking for the dark angst and smut, you mostly likely not going to find it in this fic. But some smut may come later down the road ;DD I hope that you'll still want to read it and look forward to more chapters ^^

here PROLOGUE: THIS GUY AIN'T NORMAL
If it wasn’t the alarm clock that should’ve woken Kim Jaejoong from his deep slumber, it was most definitely should have been the pair of lips that were pressed against the back of his neck.
From his slow climb out of REM sleep, the beautiful man’s sighed softly as he felt something cool and wet on the nape of his neck, sending waves of pleasure up and down his spine. He giggled softly at the tingling feeling as he snuggled deeper into his pillow, a content smile on his face.
‘Ahh that feels so…nice..
Suddenly, the cool wetness changed into a smooth hardness as rather sharp teeth raked their way from his neck and along his shoulders, stopping only to suck lightly on his pale skin.
Jaejoong’s eyebrows started to scrunch together, his mind finally realizing that this was not right. His mind, however, truly did not register this fact, until he felt an unfamiliar hardness pressed against the lower half of his body.
Correction. Right up against his ass.
‘Oh…Oh SHIT!’
Jaejoong’s eyes snapped open as he leaped out of the warm bed, detangling himself from the long, strong limbs that had encased him. He snatched the large comforter as he did so, wrapping it around his half naked body, similar to how a woman would do to hide her bosom (Not that he had one, it was just a natural reaction). He felt a small sense of victory after landing a well-placed elbow on the face of his unwelcomed bedmate which was followed by a groan of pain.
“Ow ow ow! Hyung!! What the hell!”
Gripping the comforter tightly against his body, he glared down at the man in his bed.
“Don’t you ‘hyung!’ me!! What the hell are you doing in my bed, Changmin?!”
The young man, Changmin, did not answer right away. Instead, he rubbed his head in agitation, while sitting cross legged on the bed, naked for the whole world to see. He stared up at Jaejoong with a look of annoyance from being woken up in such a matter.
Completely ignorant to his naked state or his obvious molestation earlier.
‘How the hell is HE the one annoyed here?!’
“That’s not very nice to wake someone up like that, hyung. And I was having such a nice dream too.”
‘Yea I could tell, you little perv!’
The smaller man’s mouth hung open in his disbelief, his eyes trying desperately to avoid the open view of the boy’s crouch.
“You did NOT answer my question!! What the hell are you doing in my room?!”
Changmin looked around, taking his sweet-ass time in discovering that this was not his bedroom. He looked back up at Jaejoong, his face still showing complete annoyance and boredom.
“I don’t know.”
“You don’t know?!”
“I must have walked in here by accident. No big deal.”
“No big deal?! No big deal?! You call sneaking into my bed and molesting me in my sleep ‘no big deal’?!”
‘That man really has no shame.’
The younger man closed his eyes and rubbed his ear from the pain of Jaejoong’s shriek, “Geez, calm down. You’re too damn loud.”
Jaejoong glared turned darker. Oh if looks could kill…
‘How hell can you be so damn calm?!’
“You-!”
“It was just an accident, hyung. I was tired last night and I went to the wrong room. That’s it. And molestation? I have no idea what you’re talking about. You were probably just dreaming,” the younger man replied, his eyes blinking innocently. Showing that hurt, puppy-dog look.
Most people would have believed him. But Jaejoong knew better. Knew HIM better. He could hear the slight teasing and taunting tone in Changmin’s voice and could see the slight smirk on his face, and that only made him angrier.
“Changmin-!”
“Are we done now?” the taller interrupted, “I’m going to go take a shower.”
With that, Changmin stood up, revealing his tall, muscular body, and walked towards the door with no hint of embarrassment or shame.
‘Oh he has absolutely nothing to be ashamed of at all.’
Jaejoong silently hushed the naughty voice inside his head and proceeded to use the comforter to cover his blushing face. He was no virgin, that’s for sure. And for anyone to think so was quite laughable. But that moment, his body and his mind couldn’t help but admit, Changmin, though younger than him by two years, was very well-endowed…he couldn’t help but be appreciative.
He groaned internally when the taller man stopped in front of him and chuckled.
“Hyung, are you blushing?”
“Get out.”
“Don’t tell me you’re embarrassed.”
“Get out. Now.”
“That’s so cute.”
“Changmin, if you don’t leave right now, I’ll kill you!”
“Fine, fine,” the snarky man held up his hands in mock defeat, “but when you’re done blushing, can you start breakfast? I’m hungry.”
And with that, he left the room, still in his birthday suit. The second the door closed, a pillow flew out of nowhere and smacked against it.
“You snarky, little-!” Jaejoong groaned as he fell back on to the bed, his face buried in the soft sheets.
Oh yea, that person. The naked hunk of man that just walked out that door?
That was Shim Changmin.
His roommate of the last eight months. His weird, sarcastic, and abnormally good-looking roommate. And…did he mention weird?
It had all started about a year ago. He had been living with Park Yoochun and Kim Junsu, two of his closest friends, in this three-bedroom apartment. Life had been rather simple for all of them. That was until Jaejoong came home from his restaurant one night to find his two best friends curled up on the couch together, naked, and looking as if they had run a marathon.
A very hot, X-rated marathon.
Then they proceeded to tell him, in his already shocked state, that they were now dating.
And while Jaejoong didn’t mind the fact that his two male friends were dating (he had had quite a number of boyfriends since his discovery of his bisexuality), it was the fact they were Yoochun and Junsu rolling around and having sex in the apartment that made him slightly uneasy and on edge about catching them in action.
A couple of months later, the couple decided that they should move into their own apartment, and even though, he knew he would miss them terribly, he was slightly thankful. Jaejoong loved his friends, to the extent of seeing them doing ‘it’ of course.
After a month after the two left, Jaejoong soon realized that he needed a roommate for two reasons. One: being an owner of a small but steadily growing restaurant did not grant him enough money for him to maintain a three-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment in downtown Seoul. Two: Jaejoong was a social person, and the one thing he hated most in the world was being alone. And living alone was twenty times worse than just being alone.
So, he decided to look for a potential roommate.
He had a couple on his list, before a young man called him up and asked for an interview.
There was no hiding the fact that he was quite impressed with the tall, dark, and handsome man that had walked through his door that afternoon. With his long legs, curly black hair, and stunning facial features, Jaejoong would have thought he was a model, and was actually quite shocked to hear that he was just an ordinary college student currently studying veterinary science.
And he would be lying if he said he didn’t enjoy staring at the man, who he found was only two years younger than him. But hey, he was a healthy man in his mid-twenties, who was known to be a heartbreaker himself, and who enjoyed and appreciated the male figure. So sue him.
The younger man seemed to be nice and polite enough. Not to mention had the cutest smile with those adorable, mismatched eyes. He didn’t seem to have any criminal history and made enough money in his day job to pay for his half of the rent. To Jaejoong, the boy seemed to be perfect roommate material.
Of course, he should have been more concerned when the younger man entered the apartment the first day and started sniffing around the living room before moving into the kitchen, then returned to stand in front of him, replying:
“This place has a nice scent.”
Yea…that should’ve sent off worrying bells right there.
But Jaejoong wasn’t one to judge. He was rather unusual himself. At least, that’s how everyone seemed to describe him. His beauty, with its both feminine and masculine qualities, was rarely matched, but many were soon put off by his blunt honesty and tendency to rather be, well, vain, and extreme OCD-ness. Not to mention, he was often stuck his own little world more often than the real one.
So, who was he to judge someone he barely knew?
It wasn’t a week later that Changmin, with his surprisingly few belongs, moved in into his current room; the one that was only separated from Jaejoong’s own room by a shared bathroom.
Not too long after, he had begun to notice changes. They appeared rather small at first, but grew in such intensity that made it harder to Jaejoong to ignore or deny them.
First, there were the scratches and tears in his furniture, especially on his expensive, white leather couch. Next where the claw marks on the hardwood floors. He had been rather surprised. While he had a cat for a couple of years, she had never caused that much damage to his things. Not even her claws could cause that much of a dent in the hardwood floors.
And for an OCD person like Jaejoong, who believed dirt and dust should be included as one of the deadly sins, it drove him crazy.
When he asked Changmin about it. The taller man only shrugged in replied:
“Beats me. Blame the cat.”
He had been slightly suspicious, but there was no way that Changmin could have caused it, since it had appeared to have been caused by a large animal. So unless his roommate had been bringing a large pack of dogs into the apartment, than he really couldn’t say anything. Thus, he sure that Jiji’s claws were properly trimmed every day, hoping that would end the problem.
Then, there was the hair. The amount of hair that had begun to accumulate on the carpet, couches, and in the sink and shower drain in just one week was utterly ridiculous. They were just two men. How could they possibly have that much hair between them?
When he asked the younger man about it, he gave him an indifferent look as he replied:
“I have a lot of hair.” And just left it at that.
It was true though. It didn’t distract from his good looks of course, but Changmin was rather hairy and would usually complain about having to shave a lot. So Jaejoong assumed that he shouldn’t be all that surprised about it. But to have that much? Was he shedding like an animal?
What was he…a dog? But even his family dog Vick didn’t shed THAT much.
But once again, Jaejoong avoided such confrontations and decided that he could live with the extra hair.
The third occurrence was the food. Jaejoong himself was a chef and a good one at that. There was always a full fridge of delicious foods and beverages. And Jaejoong rather enjoyed the weekly trips to the store.
However, the weekly trips soon turned into daily ones. One day his fridge would be full and then the next completely empty, save a few scraps.
He was stunned. He could hardly believe that just one person could eat that much food. He ran up to Changmin, vividly upset at the amount of food that had disappeared from his fridge and cabinets, but the taller man just ignored him and walk away, only shout back:
“I’m growing boy. I need food.”
Now that was understatement. Jaejoong had been a growing boy once and he had never eaten that much. He had once served a whole soccer team full of “growing boys”, and they couldn’t have matched the amount of food that his roommate could consume in just one hour. He was like he was eating for a whole apartment complex plus the entire block.
He guessed he should be thrilled that the boy loved his food, even his spiciest dishes. The pure happiness and pleasure that came across Changmin’s face when he ate one of his many dishes, made him smile. Only to cry horribly when he had to walk to the store again that week and spend a good portion of his paycheck.
At this point, Changmin was turning into much more a weirdo than he had intently thought.
Jiji had been the most telling sign that something was a bit ‘off’ with the tall college boy. Since the moment the student had moved in, Jiji had been completely on edge. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t get her to leave the sanctuary of his bedroom. And when he finally did, she would climb to the top of the pantry and shake in fear, the fur on her back standing up straight, her tail three times as big as normal.
And every time, Changmin would walk by, she would hiss violently and spit, showing her claws. The taller boy was unfazed however, and would turn and glare at the tiny feline, like he was going to tear her apart, making the tiny gray cat curl up in fear. She had become such a mess that Jaejoong decided that it would be best for her to give her to his sister.
He knew that he himself wasn’t really good with animals. And one can’t expect that from everybody. But he found it quite strange that his usually friendly cat would be so afraid of a man who supposed to be going to school to become a vet.
Not to mention, Changmin wasn’t really quite the shy, polite boy he had originally defined him as. Quite the contrary, Changmin was just as honest as Jaejoong was. And was actually very witty and sharp-tongued. He was confident and very sure of himself, and was quick to end any type of conversation before it could even begin. He could spin Jaejoong around in endless circles with his words, making Jaejoong regret ever asking him to do anything. And even worse, he would sometimes turn into this sad little thing, turning those pitiful eyes on him, and making him feel like he just kicked a puppy.
Lastly, Changmin was strangely…very territorial. He liked his personal space and would snap at anyone who happened to enter it without warning. Jaejoong had hoped that he was only imagining the growling and snarling sounds that seemed to erupt from the younger man’s throat at a simple touch. At first, Changmin had wanted to his room to be off-limits; however, Jaejoong refused (his OCD-ness being the reason for this), insisting about cleaning it every week, unless Changmin was willing to do it himself.
Not a very cleanly person, Changmin reluctantly agreed. And slowly, after a few months together, Changmin seemed to get used to having Jaejoong around. He even started to become a little more affectionate towards the beautiful man. Well, if you called the bone-crushing hugs and back-breaking slaps as signs of affection. He was rather strong for being so tall and lanky. The boy had once slapped him on the back so hard that his whole body flew over the couch and onto the living room floor.
That was one of the few times he saw a true apologetic look of the boy’s face.
He remembered he had voiced his concerns to Yoochun and Junsu a couple of times. The only reponse he got was a worried look from Junsu and fits of laughter from Yoochun.
“Sounds like you’re living with a dog rather than a roommate! Don’t tell me Changmin is part werewolf or something? Has he been howling at the moon yet?” Yoochun laughed at his own stupid joke, earning a slap on the back of the head from his boyfriend.
The dirty blond man shook his head at that. Changmin had his doggish ways (though he looked more like deer on some occasion), but Jaejoong would liken him more to a cat most of the time rather than a dog. Especially the way he would brush off any type of affection, unless he was the one to give it first.
And while, it had made some sense, Jaejoong was never one to believe in the supernatural. It was rather ridiculous.
His roommate. A werewolf. Please.
“It’s true. I am werewolf.”
Jaejoong could remember almost falling over at that answer. He had only been playfully teasing Changmin by using Yoochun’s own silly comment, but to get this straight-faced, dead-panned answer was…scary. But instead he ignored the seriousness of that answer, he just laughed it off. Thinking the younger man was only pulling his leg.
“HA HA HA HA! That’s a good one, Changmin!”
“No, hyung. I’m serious.”
“No seriously, THAT was a good one!”
“Hyung. I’m not joking.”
“Yes you are!”
“No, I’m not!”
“Changmin, you can’t be serious. Werewolves don’t exist.”
“Umm yea, EXISTING here.”
“Dammit, Changmin! It’s not funny anymore if you keep doing that.”
“Doing what? Denying what I am?”
“Okay you smart ass! Prove it!”
“What? I have nothing to prove to you.”
“Then I don’t believe you. Prove it.”
“Fine!”
“………..Well…...........that’s…..........new…”
*BANG* *BANG* *SMACK*
And that’s really all he knew before he fainted on to the kitchen floor and had resulted in several bruises and a major headache for two weeks. Of course the shock of what he just witnessed: his roommate changing into some hairy, beast-like creature at the flip of a switch was what had him lost for at least a couple of days.
At first, he didn’t know how to deal with his roommate being a….well…a werewolf. A celebrity of the supernatural and supposedly fictional world. Ones that were used only as a myth to scare children and cause nightmares. Or the ones that were used on the big screen to promote romantic chick flicks and give teen girls orgasmic fantasies.
Not ones that slept in the room next to his or the ones that raided his kitchen every second of the day. And especially not the ones who snuck in his bed on occasion and would immediately claim it was an accident.
But, nevertheless, Jaejoong was reluctant to kick Changmin out. He had become fond of the younger man, who had only treated him kindly (even if he did tease him occasionally) and had never hurt him. Well, intentionally at least. And it wasn’t like the man had intently lied about being a…well, that.
“Why didn’t you tell me earlier?”
“Never asked if I was a werewolf. Didn’t tell.”
“God, you’re unbelievable.”
“Yes, I know.” *smirk*
That devil...
He guessed he shouldn’t have expected him to say anything about being a…well, THAT. It’s not exactly something you would tell someone in an interview.
“So, looks like you have a decent job, background check turned out good, and you seem like a nice, easy-going person. But just one question, by any chance, would you happen to be a hairy, drooling animal that might come into my room under a full moon and tear me limb from limb?”
Oh yea, THAT would go well.
Nevertheless, Changmin couldn’t control who he was. And neither could Jaejoong. So, he was willing to just let it go.
And for the last several months, nothing really changed.
And call him crazy and mentally insane, but he was okay with his hairy, wolfish roommate around. He was never lonely and Changmin, despite wanting to tear his head off on occasion, made him feel happy and secure. Even if he was a bit curious as to why a werewolf would want to live in the same apartment as a normal human being like himself. Much less willingly admit he was one.
It must mean that Changmin trusted him. Even if the man hadn’t said anything more about what he was, where he came from, or why he was here. Jaejoong wasn’t going to pry. He was just happy that he was special enough to the man that he could trust him with his supernatural secret. So, in the end, if a few furniture and floors were destroyed in the process, he was willingly to live with it.
Of course, he shouldn’t have expected things to go that easy.
Clever werewolf Shim Changmin would never make it so…

<===Character Profiles Chapter 1===> ---
Okay, so good? Bad? It could be worse? lol :) Please let me know what you think!
Even though there wasn't a lot of dialogue and was mostly Jaejoong reminiscing, I hope it still catches people's interest. Even just a tinsy bit :3
I plan updating on this on regular basis. As long as school goes well. Though, there be some time in the middle since I also plan to have to have some TVXQ oneshots uploaded soon, and I plan on catching up on with a JunDa fic I was working but got a little stuck :// But still, I do hope to update this fic as fast as possible ;)) Still not sure how long this will be, but I guess we'll find out together.
This is mostly a Minjae, but I'm sure some of you noticed the yunjae in the pairings list. And yes, Yunho will appear later with potential YJ moments :)) Yoosu will show up every now and then too, but it will mostly focus on MJ and YJ.
And yea, Jaejoong is pretty accepting for something like that ;;^__^ But I figure, Jae's just weird himself so it makes sense lol.
So anyway, thank you for reading!
