You...of all people...shying away from a gizmo and refusing to wake up to music? Unthinkable!

But I got a truly royal treatment. The alarm in that thingie in my room was already set up, probably by one of the traveling technofiles who stayed in that room before. Obviously, dialing 0 did not turn that, er, bleeping setting off.

Usability! I learned that word from you...and haven't heard it from anyone else since. Tell me, you'd enjoy that card much more than a birthday one, right?

Here is a better story. Remember Sarah's "hairdressing set" in our living room? It took several hours, insane number of tools and 2.4 engineers to assemble that. And we broke it in a couple of places.

At least they gave you the manual! But I find the "for the technically adept" part insulting. I *am* technically adept. But I don't deal with crappy interfaces ( ... )
