Turns out that the wonder of wonders and the miracle of miracles, Lexus 460 L, the car that parks itself, can do parallel parking only if the parking space is at least 6.5 feet longer than the car.   I've been suspecting all along that learning to parallel park would be cheaper in the long run.

Desperately need lessons.  Brother, where art thou?

Mb you could come over for a weekend again next time the kids are with L.? I promise to torture you into parallel parking before you leave. Chances are, I'll be in NY next weekend, but will probably come Sat. and leave Sunday, does not give us enough time.

C'mon, gotta be more creative. Is that the only torture you could come up with? Besides, life (and your visits) are too short to be spent on parallel parking.

Step #1 is to get you driving on the highway and to other places outside Fort Lee. Parellal parking is really easy and that would be taught in a day after the trip to Brooklyn, Manhattan, etc. For now.... Fort Lee has parking lots.
