Well, yesterday's was better than last years. I had company so I didn't get too down and depressed, which has started to happen more regularly as the years pass. Let's hope that this means that the 12 months to come will be positive!

Just posted to remind me when I'm being treated as if I know nothing! Grrr to people at work who send answers to other people when I've sent the question by e-mail to them direct so the other person has to forward to me...

Well, after the death of the car I thought it might be nice to bring the pick up of the new car forward. Latest figure is £320 to repair and the part exchange value was going to be £350!

Now - do I buy the car ignoring the part exchange and get the existing car repaired and sell privately as it is MOT'd to September and taxed to the end of June, or just scrap the car or accept £30 part exchange!

The other week the alternator gave up the ghost. Then, last Friday when I got home from Newhaven I could smell something wrong. Discovered that the back nearside wheel was burning hot!
