That was a powerful punch to the gut and in such a good way. They both were. Both sides of the same coin. I love how you integrate each POV so seamlessly between the stories. And oh my god, the emotion, and the angst, and pain, and love, and care. They have a lot to discuss when they get home. Poor boys. *hugs them* Is there gonna be a part 3 for when they do finally get home and fess up?

Lovely work. Also loved the echoing of Jenna's words and their words to each other in Steve's office. A real look into both their heads and the severity of the injuries. Also loved the bit about Kono being a warrior princess. Hee!

There is going to be a part 3. I'm in the process of moving right now, so I'm hoping to get it out within the next couple weeks. I was hoping to get it out earlier, but graduation and then getting everything ready for our move snuck up on me.
