Written by the same author who wrote "Bel Canto." I guess I was expecting more, seeing as I really loved "Bel Canto," but aside from the high expectations I put it up to, it was an okay book. Little plot, and lots of characterization. Which tends to be the style that I like, I guess...

Until the Real Thing Comes Along by Elizabeth Berg

A very disapointing book. Did not like it at all, and I really tend to love Berg. It's about not getting everything that you want and being okay with it. Which is fine, really it is. But how frustrating. And depressing. Not at all inspiring or happy or... much of anything really.
