The perfect homecoming

I got home from T.H.A. only a few hours ago, and I feel like so many things have happened. This time, I'm not typing this for myself; I need help with this, because I really don't know what to do anymore.

My aunt dropped me off at home. Looking at my car, which I hadn't seen in 11 days, I noticed that it looked rather dirty. I didn't think much of ( Read more... )

I believe that partly in why your brother continues to do these things is because he's seen you do (some) of them and figures he can pull it off. But like you said, you've more finesse and dexterity when it comes to sneaking around ( ... )

Your brother craves attention. Everything about him screams that. He's most likely felt like he was in your shadow his whole life, and I have a feeling that's usually how two child familes go. My sister has always been addicted to attention, and it wasn't easy gaining it when she was younger and I was "the good one" Not that anybody ever said that, but we fucking knew it. When Kayla was young my parents took her to see a psychologist and he insisted that my parents give my sister an outlet. Ten years later and we have this budding artist who still fucks with my dad on a regular basis for attention ( ... )

I don't think that it's Marcella taking it personally. Do you think that he would have pulled this with his mother's car? Maybe he did drive the Taurus before but the only reason why he took Marcella's car is because he's jealous of Marcella.

And the way you're talking about Adam is as if they've got him on a long chain and they're letting him be some "wild child". I know they've got limitations and rules for Adam, but sometimes you have to try and trust people and let them make their own mistakes, which is what he did.

Yeah, there definitely are rules and limitations on him already. And we've tried to put said "fear" in him. I tend to think that this all has a lot to do with the fact that we don't have a fatherly figure... the closest person to it would be my uncle, who has also tried to help, at least tried to scare Adam into submission. We always end up thinking, Hey, everything is better! And then something like this happens a few months later. It isn't like we're letting him do anything he wants... he just ignores the mostly unsaid rules of respect and limits.
