Here are two videos from my trip to the San Juan Islands back in September. I have lots of beautiful pictures and videos that I'll sort through one day.

The naturalist did a lot of talking.

We saw Tucker and his research boat. :) More information here: http://conservationbiology.net/research-programs/killer-whales/ NOAA was also out trying ( Read more... )

Oh cool! Other than dolphins I've never seen marine mammals in the wild. No luck on this past trip but I was hoping to see a whale. What is Vimeo like? I have an account there but I know they have a size limit and a weekly limit which is not good. What about time limit on videos?

It was amazing! The orcas even showed up in my dreams a few times, too. :) The naturalists turned on a hydrophone so we could listen to some vocalizations, but the pod was strangely quiet. I also headed out to Lime Kiln Park on the western side of the island in hopes to see more whales because it has a great lookout area, but none came by while I was there ( ... )

Hum, it's something for me to consider. I do have an account but haven't used it. I'm not worried about that because I have other emails I can use to make more than one account if I needed. I only have three. My main one and one for music and one for personality types. Everything else is all mixed together. I don't care if there aren't too many plant people there. I always like being the first on anything anyway and more will come so long as I get my closest friends to join me from youtube it would be good. I'm still undecided. I'm writing up a new rant video right now.
