For February I'm participating in a daily photo challenge in a Jenkins spindle forum. Each day a random letter is chosen and we have to take a picture of our spinning with an object. Today is P so of course I had to go with parakeet. My newest budgie obliged me with with a cute pose.

Finn's emergency surgery

new carnivorous container
I'm thrilled. My neighbor set out a free pond liner the other day, and you better believe I dragged this baby across the street to my driveway. I've needed another large container for my carnivorous plants for years. A few years ago I moved some plants into smaller pots with saucers, but they dry out quickly in the summer and the plastic saucers ( Read more... ) -
