Oh, I'm so glad the class is going well. It's the best when you get to get paid to dow hat you love!

You teach at Mills College, right? I was researching Joanna Newsom when I won those concert tickets and it said she graduated from Mills College in California, lol.

You're right. I'm teaching at Mills College. It's cool that you found a Mills connection. It seems like a great school. I'm in love with the people I've met there. Everyone is great. The students seem very enthusiastic, and I'm really looking forward to digging into the texts. It'll be a lot of fun and a lot of hard work.

The thing that's really awful about yesterday is that my drive should be a snap. It's opposite the commute direction, so usually the traffic is quite light. But yesterday -- just my luck -- it sucked. The traffic is usually much worse going to Aric's work which is only 6 miles away, but still takes 20 minutes to get there. I usually can drive to Oakland in 40 minutes, even though it's 36 miles away. Go figure. I hope that I don't have this sort of trouble on a regular basis!

This post should really be called.

Yeah, but as the Simpson's say, "Brevity is ... wit." :-)
