Ok, so apparently I'm not going to be dating anytime soon. Basically my dad told me that he doesn't want me dating guys until we figure some things out... psychological things. And the worst part is that he isn't being controlling or trying to change me or anything, so I'm not just going to say "whatever I'll do what I want," he's actually trying

its lame. i think you should do what makes you happy. if that means going against your father then so be it. but he does have a point. cuz if you get over this (if it is a phase, not saying it is) then you might be like..."i dated a dude...weird" and i think your dad is afraid of you doing "things" with the guy...i dunno. but your dad has a good heart. he is trying to help. i hope things get worked out. im here if you wanna talk. i love you peyton!

join the club. im not sure how my dad feels...okay not a good time to mention that. darn! lol. anyway, maybe you just need to give it some time, or you need to sit him down and have a talk, where you talk all you need to before you let him respond. tell him everything that is going on in your head and all that you feel. tell him that he NEEDS to listen to you. it might work, but you need to talk to him.
