Pretty well settled in now! Our container full of cr*p arrived from the UK exactly 4 weeks after it left, and we have now mostly unpacked everything. A few trips to donate stuff to the Thrift store already, now we've had the time to properly sort it all ( Read more... )

Nearly there!! After a few delays with my new employer sorting out our Work Permit paperwork, we finally received notification yesterday that our Work Permits have been approved, and we are free to arrive in Canada whenever we 're ready!!!!!!!!!!!

So on with the news - having purchased our new home in Nova Scotia back in May, we popped back out in October to close on it and move in (if only for 4 days before we had to come back to the UK)

We've just returned from another holiday to Canada, this time to the Atlantic Maritimes - Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island.

Been a busy weekend of call out (I do roughly 1 week in 5 of being on 24hour call for work) - have covered 300 miles or so, ranging from Faversham in Kent down to Crawley and Eastbourne in Sussex - on a plus note I managed to fix every fault bar one (and that one only because I didn't have the parts ( Read more... )
