The trip has been pretty interesting so far. There was some protesting by Nick and Theresa when I wanted to spend my entire time in France in the Louvre, they actually made me leave and dragged me almost physically to some shops and a restaurant, but I think when all I did was sketch on the napkins they gave in. Besides this way they get to spend ( Read more... )

*sets the water on the stove so it can boil*

I can make it either way, actually. You don't drink?

*walks past him, slipping off her shirt as she enters the bedroom*

I'm going to change into dry clothes. I'll be right out. You can sit down you know.

No, I don't drink.

*turns away again to avoid looking, he's never going to stop blushing at this rate*

Sure. I'll just sit here and not look.

*calls out as she strips completely out of the wet clothes, toweling of before slipping on pajama pants and a tank top*

That's cool. I honestly don't drink much. Had a bad experience once in college and it turned me off to being out of control of my actions, you know?

*towel dries her hair briefly before walking back into the kitchen to make the coffee*

Sorry. I forget people get uncomfortable with nudity. I shared a summer hour with some friends for two summers and we just tended to walk around in various states of undress. Donovan is an artist and he always had models over to pose for him so I guess we were always comfortable.

Well I have people do a lot of modeling but usually with clothes on. Especially since I'm usually trying to do period cosutming, its easier to have the folds and stuff already there.

I've been around a couple of drinkers. Turned me off of it.

*sits in silence for a bit before asking*

Do I make you uncomfortable?

I hope I don't offend you when I say yes. But you don't as much as you should which is weird.

*reaches out slowly and takes her hand*

I'm sorry.

Don't apologize.

*squeezes his hand*

Is it the nudity thing or the kissing, both?

*pauses*

Crap. Are you like in a relationship? I really don't feel like cat fighting over you if you have a girlfriend or boyfriend.

marcus_woods June 13 2005, 16:04:15 UTC
A little of both.

*laughs*

No, no relationship. Just not real great at being comfortable in naked or kissing situations.

Have you ever been in love?

*coughs on his coffee and laughs*

Ok you don't pull punches.

I thought I was once, but I think we were just friends really. We kind of went our seperate ways.

I totally understand. I thought I was in love with my high school boyfriend, but that was more lust. Then there was the fiance and that was...hmm, that was something I'm not really sure of. Hope? Obligation maybe. He wasn't in love with me either so I don't feel real guilty about how things turned out. Figure it's better to rip the bandaid off fast than to tug slowly.

*arches an eyebrow*

Should I not ask questions when you're drinking?

*laughs*

Um, it might be less messy if you don't. Yeah quick pain is better than slow. And if you don't belong with someone there's really no reason you should try and stick it out.

*amused as she's figured out most of the conversation from Lancelot's answers*

Hungry?

Sure.

*rubs his face for a minute*

So want to go to dinner with Guin and Arthur tomorrow?

*sets two bowls of soup on the table along with bread*

Oh, I wouldn't miss meeting them for the world. They sound fun. Locator spells? Guin really does have magic on her side.

Yes she does. They are also a tad overprotective and enjoy making fun of me. Of course I make fun back.

*takes a bite of soup*

This is good, thanks.
