Quiet isn't something Pela does, if you ask James - who wasn't in the suite when they arrived, who wasn't in the suite when Pela arrived, and who is currently in the elevator rolling his sleeves down. Something is off when he reaches their floor, and if he were a god-fearing man he'd be bloody grateful for the forethought of a silencer.
(He is not. He praises his own pragmatism.)
The door's open and he can hear what's wrong by the time he gets to it, moving quietly; no particular need to keep these men alive is, he'll later reflect, something of an advantage.

They have silencers, too, but at such close range James can probably hear it when one of them shoots directly at Pela. The bullet imbeds itself in the wall next to her head, and she takes the moment to crackle electricity over the floor and up to that man's head - it leaves her exposed to one of the others, but hey, one down, four to go.

Make that two - "Hello, gentlemen," - as James rounds the corner and takes aim across where Pela's open. He doesn't miss. "I didn't know we were expecting company."
...yes, thank you, dodge faster.

"You are much less funny than you think you are," Pela grumbles, in between getting clocked in the side of the head (ow) and messily slamming the offending hand into the hotel-provided garbage disposal (also ow, but conveniently not for her or anyone she cares about).
