AUGH, my laptop has ceased to acknowledge the existence of either one of my tablets! This comes on the heels of it informing me that the hard-drive is due for imminent failure.

I am frowning very hard at my laptop, as you might imagine. Time to go move all my programs onto the family PC and attempt to be very covert about drawing slash there. WHAT

My iMac is slowly dying, which hence delays any purchase of a tablet.

I think it is a terminal disease, hehe, the display goes black or pixlelates or freezes. Ugh.

I know the skivvy feeling of being on a family computer. My computer just recently took a turn for the worse in its fight against viruses, and so I'm on the family computer in the kitchen, nonetheless. My heart goes out to you.
