So something made a huge crunching noise near my back right tire on the way home from work today. I couldn't find any damage when I checked the area, so I think I might have squished some sort of critter. I guess I'll know when I drive to work tomorrow.

Jeremy and I just got back from the Vet. We had to put Artemis (our guinea pig) down. I know she was just a pet, but in a way she was our baby. We'll miss her.

Okay, the economy in Michigan sucks. 40% of the people who do lab work with me got pink slips the other day. Granted, I work for a small company, so even a few people ends up being a large %, but it still sucks. Wow, been really busy lately. The wedding planning is going "mostly" okay. My boss is amazingly cool and asked me if I wanted to take some extra vacation time with no advanced notice yesterday since I have a crap ton of vacation hours and an equal amount of stuff to do. Okay, so Jeremy and I FINALLY have an official date for our wedding. It will be Saturday August 30th. :) Sorry if I'm ruining anybodies Labor Day weekend plans, but we had a couple people from our of town request the long weekend to make it easier on them.
