A couple of years later, and I’m back. Oct. of last year I had a stroke and ended up in the hosptial for three days, and rehab for almost a month. I had just the best day yesterday. Got up early, left at 6ish, and drove down to Lodi for West Kingdom EQ championship. I somehow, foolishly, thought that as I aged, the pain of losing someone I loved would be easier. Like most of my thoughts, that's proven false.
