Okay, so my family is pretty low-key with Christmas. Though we received more presents as small children, it was NEVER on the scale of what my friends got. Which was okay with me, theoretically, but living in a relatively non-materialistic household makes you a little bit jealous on Christmas, even if you are happy with what you got. I went for a walk in the rain tonight and it was BEAUTIFUL. No joke. Just me and an umbrella and some music and a pair of rain boots. Literally just me, because the only other people out in the downpour were like... sprinting across campus trying to stay dry. I love walking around campus at night.
