Eeep. Check out this tally of Playstation 3 related mayhem. I can understand the wanting of a new toy, but there comes a time when you just have to suck it up and keep using the ol' PS2. For me that time is when the new toy costs several hundred dollars and the company isn't willing to supply it to me in a safe and convenient manner ( Read more... )

I've only used it for about a half hour total so I'm not the best reviewer, but it seems good so far. I'm looking forward to exploring it more which is a good sign.

it's all part of the marketing hype, trying to make folks think the merchandise is worth the bother.

Worst Buy is one of those experiences one goes through in order to prepare for an afterlife in hell. 
five minutes in the place and I'm sure to have a headache coming on; twenty would surely trigger a migraine if I could last that long (but I don't. 
it's like the incumbent President: I've never heard him utter a complete sentence becaus hearing his voice is a cue to switch off the radio.

but back to Worst Buy: I don't understand why the ambient noise isn't a workplace safety violation -- where's the local OSHA inspector when you need him or her?

I think that the noise levels in that store must be meant to disorient consumers. I can't think of any other reason why they'd create such an intensely irritating environment. It's like being a dolphin in sonar polluted waters.
