Logically, after my mad-awesome research on Star Wars weddings the next step would be a Star Trek Wedding Blog. And the Internets did not disappoint. ( LIVE LONG AND PROSPER - I DO! )
chartreusey mustard was just a really popular color in the '60s. It's the major failing of that era of fashion. though I don't mind it in star trek because it's at least a military-color. But sometimes designers use it in '60s shows too much, and even though I know it's accurately used, I think "really? we couldn't bend the rules here and get rid of the chartreuse?" case in point the hairspray movie, which had otherwise perfect costumes:
