Logically, after my mad-awesome research on Star Wars weddings the next step would be a Star Trek Wedding Blog. And the Internets did not disappoint.

also, yeah that spiffy white coat is part of the dress uniform for formal events.

listen, the point is, your star trek themed blog made me realize so many geeky things about myself.

chartreusey mustard was just a really popular color in the '60s. It's the major failing of that era of fashion. though I don't mind it in star trek because it's at least a military-color. But sometimes designers use it in '60s shows too much, and even though I know it's accurately used, I think "really? we couldn't bend the rules here and get rid of the chartreuse?" case in point the hairspray movie, which had otherwise perfect costumes:
