I hate starting essays. I can "prep" for them for hours and never actually start. I never know how to start without just jumping into facts. I feel like a proper introduction is needed but don't know how to write one. No wonder it takes me until 6AM to ever finish them. I'll update more when I'm done. Only another 850 more words to go!

I have been staring at this essay of mine for weeks. I know exactly how you feel. I thought I would have been used to it being an English major, but nope.

and aren't there just so many other distracting things do to instead of writing? i normally write anthony giant emails "while i'm writing" or "not" watch tv. no wonder i took me till 5:30 to finish the damn thing. wow and an english major...i'd die, i'm art history, we barely write essay, but that's enough for me.

And there are so many things to do rather than writing an essay, its almost as bad as doing taxes... almost.
