Wow. That was an amazingly accurate portrayal of extended sleep deprivation, says the fangirl with chronic severe idiopathic insomnia. I just wanted to curl up with Dean, poor thing. And Sam realizing the things that have slipped away over the years...heartbreaking. Great story.

Oh, how I understand this mental bargaining. Anything for sleep. Any fucking thing at all.

And thanks, I'm medicated heavily for it, I still have bad nights now and then but I had my last bad bout in August, and still get a creepy feeling every time I remember what it felt like. Six days.

Ouch. That was excruciating. So nice to see Sammy in the role of "Best Brother" out there. The ending was perfect.

You know I love every fucking word of this. SERIOUSLY. Your prose is absolutely beautiful and gutting all at the same time. You need to hurry up and graduate so you can write ALL THE FIC. I've already read this an embarrassing number of times, gah. SO MUCH LOVE.
