I would so not fall off! I would be like that ingenious little boy in some book of stories I read when I was little who tied his ankles to a nearby tree with rope and extended his entire body out to help his brother, who was dangling off a cliff.

I'd have one if I was anywhere near a cliff. It would probably be on a packing list or something. That's why the boy in the story had it.
