Nando hopes he can show Dan that there's nothing to worry about, that he shouldn't hide who he is just because he is scared. Poor boy, Dan doesn't make it easy for him!

It does make sense, don't worry :D Definitely, he's just confused and scared and doesn't really know what to do with himself. But he finds that being with Fernando is really good, so maybe it will be enough in the end? ;-)
