Exhausted but happy. As one of my colleagues pointed out "I think this is your year" to own it and to excel and behavior management and being a 4th year teacher. :) I do feel happy, confident and positive about this school year. I'm just gonna take it slow, build up the procedures (track) so my content (train) will stay on track this year. -

Back to School! Getting the room ready...go me this is the first year that I've gotten the furniture all figured out probably in like 2 hours! I still have a lot to do before open house tomorrow...meeting with colleague, moving a bunch of heavy clay over, bulletin boards just in case, wait for it, just in case a parent does in fact stop by the art ( Read more... ) -

Intense 2 weeks of grad school done. Done till Sept! Went to Capitol Hill and learned about education policy...like meeting the Undersecretary of Ed, Yudin who by the way was part of NCLB and the new Obama blueprint but HAS NEVER SET FOOT IN A CLASSROOM, but is making changes that AFFECT US ALL. Put down 1st deposit for venue. We're getting married at The Links in Gettysburg :) Paul got to see it all decorated for a wedding that day. Now we have to tackle the guest list etc...
busy working on a grad paper and tech project for last day of class this semester...so I can't wait till that's all done with. 6 weeks till school's done! -
