I've been a Green Bay Packers fan for a long long time.  I've stayed a fan because of Brett Farve.  I was thrilled at the mere mention that he would be returning to play football with GB.  Alas, that was not meant to be.

On this Memorial day weekend, I especially remember my beloved father, who was killed 18 years ago today.

I still miss him so much.  I miss him as not only my daddy, but my best friend, advisor, counselor and my biggest support system.  He was a veteran of World War II, and earned, among other medals, a Purple Heart, given to him by First Lady ( Read more... )
