I'm not wet in the, "Hoshit, I just went swimming and my arms are about to give out!" way. No, this is more like I stood in the middle of the yard and my mom sprayed me down with the hose after a brutal bike ride.

This week's been... "interesting."

Unfortunately, I can't rant about most of it.

But I did take an amazing bikeride today. I went up and down Bethany Lane, all the way to Poppins' house, and then back to my house and then along my mom's walking path. All in all, that was about... guesstimating, I'm saying about three and a half miles. And I'm still ( Read more... )

Another bike ride. This one wasn't nearly as long however. Probably went about a quarter of the way to Poppins' house. I was gonna go further, but a big spike of lighting overtook the sky and I was like, "Oh, fuck."

I love riding after it rains, though. It's so crisp and clear and doesn't smell like motor oil.

I've noticed, that when I'm near the end of my endurance level when riding my bike, one of my feet, typically the right one, starts lifting off the pedal and pounding back down on it for added push. It's kinda neat.
