1) Got my hair tangled in my brush at the health club to such an extent that I had to hunt for someone in the locker room to release me from the plastic beast. I suspect this is a side effect of the pool chlorine which now permanently lives on my head and gives my whole person the aroma of "Eau de Cement Pond

I took a hot pan off the stove and, in the absence of something heat-resistant on which to place it, I put the pan on the corner of my metal sink. ABout a minute later, I found a heat resistant pad, took my pan, sat it on the pad, then promptly walked back to the sink, braced myself on its piping hot corner with my right hand and then I said "Ow! Ow! Ow!" to the bewilderment of both cat and dog.

I have a lovely mark on my palm now, and it still smarts (this happened yesterday).

I burned myself on a cookie sheet on Monday. It must have been falling or I absentmindedly reached for it with the wrong hand. My finger and thumb have some blisters, but they have been going down and I should heal up good as new by a week.

Ionel does this all the time. He reaches for super hot things without even thinking, or worse, he spoons hot food in his mouth just moments after I took it off the stove. Ouch. Sometimes I think he's been feeding his brain too much abstract math over the years and now there is no more room for every day common stuff. :o)
