Shiva is here and she is stressed out. She spent five days in a kennel (she's never been caged or in a kennel in her life), then 10 hours in the car with a complete stranger, and now, most of the night at our place. Marina, I'm so sorry. This must be hard for you.

I have lots of family in the TO area. If it helps in any way, I can fire off some emails to see if anybody knows someone who'd give her a good home. Do you know if she's ok with kids?

Everything worked out in the end. She is with the first choice couple right now. I bawled when we left her and couldn't get myself unwrapped from around her neck. I felt so bad for all the confusion she must be feeling and all the changes she's had to endure in just one week. Her whole life changed and there's nothing she can do about it.

She's such a sweet girl. I can go visit her anytime I want.

I'm so glad her new family came through. I am so sad at what she is probably feeling right now, though. The poor girl. Surely she doesn't understand what is going on right now, so I do hope that her new family will love her and care for her the way she deserves. I hope you get to go see her from time to time.
