Although we all know my biggest 24 issue of all time, I do love Bill so much, and I think given everything we saw him do, up to and including his death, he would be pretty much as protective of Jack as you have him here. I really like the way you leave the ending open in the sense that the reader, like Bill, doesn't know if Jack will be waiting when Bill comes back.
And the Fringe ficlet. So creepy! This is actually one of the reasons I'm not sure I can get into the show, because having two versions of everybody but Peter is seriously WEIRD. But I love that you have Peter observing Fauxlivia closely enough to realize she's a fake.
I did write a draft of yoour own Karen/Jack prompt, but I'm letting it sit for a day or so before I revisit.

Wait until you meet the Cylons on Battlestar Galactica if you want multiple copy weirdness.
After Day 6 I was so desperate for Bill to fuss over Jack. Maybe because Bill's uter agony in 6x01 was so wonderfully awful and understated. James Morrsion tore my heart out. So I like to think that after Day 6 was over Bill would make SOME effort. In the end, he did sacrifice himself to save POTUS so that Jack could live, so there was that.
Very nice job with these. I haven't really seen Fringe, or Mad Men, and I know I prompted for Fringe, but... you know. I was very interested to read it. Not the real Olivia! I didn't see that one coming, then again I didn't know there were multiple versions of the characters. Hee.
Ohhh no worries! I'm not sure if I'll watch it anyway. But I wanted to be less cliche and give you a different prompt. I'm SO prone to just tossing off Jack and Renee prompts, and I know you're really not a shipper, even if you like both characters. So I tried to resist the urge!

I liked your solutions. Augh, Bill and Jack get to me every time. And I think you captured Roger's voice really well. Plus, I get to use my icon.

Glad Roger sounded right to you. I find him hard to write. He is the ultimate sensualist, but think he has a sensitive side somewhere.
Olivia IS a redhead, right now, so.
Bill! We need you here now.
Thanks for Betaing. Will try to get to the other challenges this weekend

You go with these! I should . . . do the same.

I love how you framed Roger and Joan - acknowledging just a fraction of that bittersweetness, that little bit of nostalgia, rings so true for Roger. ♥
