True confessions time: I didn't go down that way, either. It was a sheer cliff. What I did was scramble up there, lean against the cliff, and pretend I was climbing (falling). Maggie was standing on the road right next to me and snapped the picture.
But we did have a great time. That much is true. Cheers!

The last shot is indeed very pretty and makes me long for the Mediterranean... which is not where it's taken, I know, but is where I last saw similar landscapes and lighting. Thanks for sharing this outtakes from your recent adventures. :D

Thank goodness for digital cameras, they let you keep snapping until something turns out. I took about 20 moon shots; it was mesmerizing.

Although the view of the Continental Divide does make the valley stunning. It's so hard to capture -- I need you here to photo it properly. You got the atmospheric shots down. :)
