Oh, those darstardly middle-aged women! You can't trust them as far as you can throw them, can you?! :) :)

I admit that I'd had a fleeting suspicion when they were so easily dismissed in the restaurant, but then promptly forgot about it!

And John... I hope you haven't forgotten his sadly-lacking love life! ;)

Yes, those poor women-- dropped like a rock because Sherlock was having far too much excitement in his life, to say no more! I loved having an unexpected villain. I was terribly self-conscious about describing them in a new paragraph. I'm glad you forgot and then remembered them.

As for John's love life... I think that will have to be another fic. Thanks so much for reading!

OMG, I've laughed so hard during this chapter that I think I've ruptured something.

Loved it! :)

Wonderful, my dear. Wrapped up both mysteries in these chapters, but I'm pleased to see the "to be continued" is still at the end. There is some resolution left to see, for Molly at least. Sherlock is (mostly) back in his element, deducing and explaining, instead of being befuddled and manipulated. I'm glad he gave John credit, and the women as well, for help in solving the heist (reluctant as it might have been). And so the moral of the story might be, "never underestimate the power of middle-aged shippers"? I'm happy to take that away!

You're quite right. The moral of the story is, "Middle-aged women secretly rule the world, so just get jiggy with that, okay?" :D

Yes, there's a bit more clean-up to do, but the heavy lifting is all done. Sherlock's two mysteries are resolved with varying degrees of success. One of the things I love about ACD's Sherlock is how real he feels-- how up front his is about acknowledging his mistakes. I like it when Sherlock, clever as he is, doesn't quite get all the pieces right.

Thanks for being such a lovely reader. I will have to get you a mink coat for Christmas (fake mink; I'm not cruel). Hugs!

Since I read this story a long time ago, who is Anna Christina Morrison? I forgot about it.
So they put their pictures as well in the posts, I thought it would be pictureless, I think that's pretty careless of them :)
I wonder what will happen with Molly and Sarah.

Hi, IS! Don't worry about Anna Christina Morrison too much; she was mentioned in Part 17, so I thought it was recent enough-- although I only named her once. Perhaps I'd have been wiser to keep it that way; she was the stalker at Bart's.

The Cougar Gang didn't put their pictures in the posts; John realized that the pictures they did post never had a shot of their table. He went searching for their faces online, but they'd removed their pics from their Facebook profiles, so the only one he found was Phoebe Gill on her university web page; he had her name in his notes ages since from Lisa Doyle's first interview, so when he put that together with the username Cougar he knew who was responsible for the posts. Clear? I know it's convoluted, but that's what I was going for.

Ah, Molly and Sarah. Perhaps we'll get a hint of them in Part 21.

Thanks so much for reading and sharing your thoughts. Cheers!

I see, thanks. Yes, it's convoluted but makes sense (like the plot of Agatha Christie :) ).

Yay, a new commenter! Here is a million dollars; use it well.

I loved John being a fan of fan fiction. With his knowledge of the world, he knows a fun group when he meets one! *preens*

So glad to serve up a few laughs. Life needs a good laugh now and then. Cheers, and thanks for reading!
