First, the sad news...

My black cat Bingley disappeared two days before Thanksgiving, and has not returned. At first, I assumed he got caught in a garage; that's what had happened the last time he went missing for 24 hours. That was a bad day; I automatically assumed he'd been eaten by a coyote and felt just terrible. Then, 24 hours later exactly, I hear this jingle ( Read more... )

Thank, you. I was just appreciating how he'd really turned into a real, grown-up cat, from the scrawny teenager he'd been. He was a happy cat while he was here. I hope he comes back and we can all be happy together. *hugs*

oh no! I saw the other post about getting the new kitten before this one -- I sure hope Bingly comes home! That's such a scary/sad thing. My sister's cat was gone for weeks, wandering around the neighborhood, hiding in the neighbor's garage, before he was finally cornered and taken home.

Oh, I so hope it will be so for Bingley, also! I'm so worried about the weather-- below freezing every night. I don't know how he can get by on his own. Let's hope he makes it through and comes home somehow. Stories like your sister's do help prop up my sagging hopes.

Cheers.

Thanks so much. They're such _good_ little buddies; I want them to be happy and safe at all times.

Oh Mariole! I'm so sorry to hear about this. I do hope that Bingley will return, perhaps a bit thinner, but well and ready to snuggle under your left arm once again.

*hugs you*

Yeah, I miss him. He was the cuddler of the two-- the one who'd crawl into my lap and snuggle. He has a shorter coat, so was a sucker for warmth. And so funny; he really was a very silly cat. I miss his antics.

Thanks for the kind words and the hugs. Back at you.

I lost a lovely blue cat when I lived in London and never found what happened to him. It's heart breaking. I've had a couple of other cats who went missing and then turned up when we'd given up hope, so there's still a chance. (((((Mariole)))))

I hope he does turn up. I keep hearing phantom meows, very faint, and my heart rushes to my throat and I run to look, or call outside. No cat. I'm sure what I heard this morning was a distant siren. But it's tough. I want to rescue him, but I can't find him! I hope he's okay.

I'm so sorry about your cat. It's hard when they enjoy being outside, but then you incur those risks. Poor little buddies. *hugs back*
