It was a trying year. But I had some good talks with myself about priorities, and intend to carry that forward.

Feeling my mortality. It's inevitable, but I keep thinking, how do I want to look back and found I've spent my time? That helps bring things into focus.

Now myself, I had my nervous breakdown in July. I wonder how that compares seasonally to your spring breakdown :-) Seriously, sorry you had such a rough year.

Thanks. I got a Fitbit, so I can confirm I was sleeping 2-3 hours a night through March, just due to stress. Seriously came unglued there. I had a really firm talk with myself about boundaries. It's helping, but I must remain vigilant.

I'm so sorry you had a parallel experience. Are you doing better? Have the sources been addressed?

Thanks, Addie. Yes, I'm sincerely hoping, at least personally, 2017 will be a year of continued artistic growth. I joined a new writers critique group with all pro members, and hope to make real improvements in my craft.

Thanks, you too! It's so nice to know LJ is still here, despite the changes. There's no other community like it.

Here's wishing you a good and productive 2017. I suspect it will be a tricky one, but one must meet life's challenges or give up. There's still some fight in me still. :)
