Huh, I'm going to go look at the Soymilk Nog we have in the Co-op kitchen. I don't remember reading that on the back of the carton.

You know, this is the first year that I'm actually yearning for and enjoying the Christmas music, along with the rest of the festitivies. Before, it used to be *blah* to me, but now...I think it's because it's so overwhelming that my dad is refusing to take part in anything with us, and it's really up to my mom and I to try to enjoy the holidays, even though our family is unhappy at home. So the holiday spirit is really a getaway for us.

What the heck is "nog" anyway? The word doesn't sound like something you should intentionally drink.

No clue. It reminds me of the word "noggin."

Just today, my professor said that the original word for "pub" came from "public areas" or "public services." So "nog" must be one of those weird English shortations (a word which I realize I just made up, just now.)

I have some of this in my fridge. It's good, but I'm a bit puzzled at the warning on the side: NOT TO BE USED AS INFANT FORMULA (OR INFANT NOG).

There is a simple explanation for this. Some people are really stupid and can't tell the difference between soy milk and soy formula. Because of these people, you have to have moronic labels on many of your home products. Infant nog might be a new low though.

Actually, that probably explains all the anomalies of life.
