Sherlock Holmes and CSI

This is mainly for foxestacado and blackcurrant, since I know they're fans.

I just watched an old CSI episode about a murder within Holmes fandom. It reminded me a lot of Laurie R. King's Art of Detection , although the show was much simpler. Nothing earth-shattering, but it was kind of fun.

It's on youtube here if anyone wants to watch it. (Hey, I didn't put it

Which one is Art of Detection again? Is it a Kate Martinelli one or a standalone novel?

I'll watch the CSI episode this weekend, which'll help me procrastinate from studying early Romantic literature :D

There's sort of a theme on CSI where every now and then the team will have to deal with a group of (for want of a better word) freaks. Furries or transvestites or competitive Scrabble players or little people or (in this case) Holmesians. I really like those episodes. I like the empathy between Grissom and whoever they are, since he's only a bit more functional than they are.
