I finally had an epiphany for my short story. I now have some characters in mind...and a setting. I had a time walking around today. Made a friend at 7-11. The guy who used to work there last year is gone now I think. I used to get 2AM slurpee's last spring and he was usually working. Like many people I have been watching the Olympics lately. I know that I will never reach greatness like they are. I will never get a 9.71 on my floor exersize routine or swim the 200 butterfly in under 4 mins. But I have to wonder how these people are in daily life. It's too bad that I am not a typical morning person. I love being awake around 5 AM. Like during finals week how i just never got to sleep regular hours, that was good. I had a good day today, free of distraction. I worked and then went to the beach this afternoon. The surf was decent, I can't complain. I went by myself which I haven't done before but it worked out.
