Uh. I just have to say something. (See, I have this *little* problem with knowing when to shut up.)
"most people there aren't as serious about losing weight/working out as they think they are. They really have no idea. Which is why they never ever lose weight..."
You don't have to work out so hard that you vomit, in order to lose weight. Not pushing themselves that hard doesn't mean that they aren't trying hard, and it doesn't mean that they aren't that serious. It just means they aren't willing to risk their health/wellness for their appearance, which, actually, is a very good thing.
Oh come on! just a 'bit pompous'? ha. You guys have only known me for less than 26 days so far so you don't know the whole story. :-) It's waaaay more fun. Obnoxious, self-centered, narcissistic... this is me much more toned down than I once was
( ... )
I think I like to think of myself as not having those attributes you describe yourself as, but the truth is: don't we all think like that in our head at least sometimes? I admit, sometimes I do. Heck, I do it a lot. But then I feel bad.
I completely understand going above and beyond moderation. It isn't for you and it WORKS for you. Keep at it. You have an crazy attitude. One of a kind.

Anyways, even though I think you're a bit pompous, you make me laugh.
