Ok, I'm now only sick as a cat. The furnace has apparently been fixed. The computer has decided to work for a bit and the plumber comes tomorrow. Everything's still wet, but I'll deal with that when I have water for washing. -

All the way home. The pipes burst. I have no water except what's on the floor. Work at 5am. I'm sick as a dog. Happy New Year :-( Oh, and I think my laptop died. -

Spent most of the 23rd grocery shopping with the 'rents for Christmas Eve and Christmas dinner. Traffic *in* the stores was incredible to say the least ( Read more... ) -
San Francisco
After about 14 hours of total travel time, we're finally all in San Francisco. I like this city. I can't complain too much about the travel time. From Chicago to San Fran I was seated next to an old lady from Ireland. Because of all recent snow, her one day trip was taking some 4 days plus time tring to sleep on the floor at Heathrow ( Read more... ) -
