I"M SO SICK OF FALLING

You know what i'm sick of i'm sick of apologizing to God from falling away from him over and over thats all i do i dunno how to stay in touch with God hey i dunno what to do
all i ever do is fall away
i can'tgo to church cause of work and all and all i ever is fallllll
how do i stay with God?

wow. i was soo like u a little while ago. kinda scary. i was falling and i knew it but i never really did anything about it. i was falling so far. i got into a lot of stuff i shouldn't have been

then i went on a retreat with my youth group...and basically everything fell into place. i realized i wasnt focused and i knew i needed to get rid of the distractions in my life.

its kinda like the story of jonah. they had to push him off the boat cause he didnt do what god told him...but god gave him the fish to live in. he'll help u along as u go. u just need to give it up

Prayer works...

the first thing I would say is pray pray pray. Talk to God as much as you can. When I'm falling away I find it is totally because of me and never because of God and giving up the things that pull me away from God isn't easy. Discipline sucks, but it's needed. God will never leave you, but if you really want to grow in Him and cultivate an awesome relationship with Him, you have to make a commitment to taking time out of your day to spend with him and do it every day. Otherwise you'll just keep falling and falling. Falling is a scary thing, but God still loves you. Read Isaiah..it's a good account of a nation falling away from God, but Him still showing his love for them. There's a verse in there about your name written on God's palm...it can never be erased. He promised that he won't ever leave you, and he does not break promises. Also, when Peter fell away by doubting, Jesus didn't leave or condemn him...he helped Peter back up. I'll be praying for ya! :D

yeah i have been praying i mean today when i woke up i just couldn't stop praying i dunno why cause i haven't prayed in ages as bad as that sounds i mean yeah and this morning i just woke up and was praying all these weird things and couldn't stop praying it was soooo good

itz nice to know im not the only one who always feels like that! :).. I love this verse so i thought maybee u would too. "Behold, the Lord's hand is not so short, that it cannot save; Neither His ear so dull that it cannot hear" (Isaiah 59:1). i think its so awesome to know that no matter how far we wander from God hes always close enough to catch us when we fall.. lol this is turning into a sermon ;).. ill keep u in my prayers* .. ttyl
