My boyfriend arrived last week (yay) and we set off to look for an apartment. Visited over thirty places in 4 days (gah). However, we finally found a place in the city (good). Favourite song of the moment. This guy has some awesome, very unique folkly sounding stuff. Listening to some of his work is like feeling that you missed your train in Siberia and had to hitch a ride with a gypsy caravan trying to make their way to Paris. Scenic World and Prenzlaurberg are also very nice.

In the clear...
Phew. My mother is is the clear for now. Her tests came back negative. She just has to go back in four months to get a repeat of the first test she had, so that they could monitor the issue. Much relieved. -
This is a joke, yes?
It's going to take another week for my mother to get her biopsy results? Huh? Wha? She was supposed to get them today. TODAY. Apparently, they have to write the 'report'. *Scratches head and wonders how that precludes them from saying 'you're in the clear' or 'not so much in the clear'*. Do these #$%#%$% realise that keeping us in the dark is WORSE ( Read more... ) -

Yoga reflections:
I will be attempting to get a handle on Padma Mayurasana. I tried Mayurasana today and fell very gracefully on my face, thus prompting the near extraction of my front teeth and near misalignment of my nose. On the up side...
I registered to volunteer at the New York, Being Yoga Conference in October. It runs Thursday night to Monday, so I volunteered to work the entire weekend. In return, if I get accepted I get to attend some parts of the conference for free if there is room in the seminars. That's totally awesome considering that the conference is expensive.
