That's exactly what i dont want to do. If we marry before i'm 25, i'll lose my coverage with my mom, but once i'm 25 my eligibility for coverage on my moms plan expires, and he can't afford to pay for insurance for me, so i have to try and keep my medicaid for as long as i can. The coverage under my medicaid isn't that great, but coupled with my moms insurance, i hardly have to pay for anything. Once i only have medicaid, i'll have to pay for a lot more, and if i lose ALL insurance coverage, i'll have to pay for my own insurance, AND the copays, AND the prescriptions.

Do you want to marry someone who seems to put conditions on the relationship?
Does he want to marry someone less than "she who does not need my help"?
Some colleges offer low cost health insurance policies, but this is not about insurance. Couples therapy is a nice concept, but where are you starting from? You are on disability for something, does that taint his perception of you?
