there may be a lot of fake people in yfc. but you can't deny the fact that YFC, itself, is christ-centred. ther are a lot of people in yfc who are there for the right reasons. and hoenstly.. it's a youth-based organizations. we can't be perfect.... and who says we don't go to church? you don't know anything about it.
Also I did mention the fact that there is so much corruption in YFC today, one of those being the fact that there are many fake people in YFC. Dude or dudette I'm not denying the fakeness in YFC. I'm saying, that to those who aren't fake, they should help those "fake" ones actually see the true meaning of YFC and what's it's there for... YFC isn't there to force you to love God, nor is it forcing you to go to events. YFC is there to help you grow in faith and help you out if you're serious about devoting you life to God. Dude/dudette don't judge YFC based on misconceptions, try it out for yourself, and if you did try it out and didn't like it, don't ruin it for the other people who have yet had the opportunity to experience the wonders of YFC... As for the "YFC is a fake 'Christ-centred' social movement", ummm last time I checked YFC stood for "YOUTHS FOR CHRIST", the fact that it's youths for Christ should already tell you that it's gonna be Christ-centred, if it wasn't it would've had a different name... END SCENE!
you really got me thinking, marc. i didn't get passed the first paragraph but i got what i needed. on the real; i was, and kinda still am, hesitant about inviting some people to yfc, but you changed my views. the thing about standing up for God even if it means stanging alone, really got me. hmm.. i guess next camp, i'm gonna evangalize like i never have, just trust. as for anonymous, there are a lot of fakes in yfc, but in any other organization, there are always going to be fake people, but saying that yfc is fake as a whole is just a misjudgement. what gave you the idea that yfc was fake? fake people? than obviously, you didn't meet enough people. and fyi, there are just some things in yfc that you can't do at mass. there are probably people in yfc who don't go to mass as often as they should, but it doesn't mean that their hearts are in the wrong places. they just prefer expressing their loyalty to God in other ways. even mass can't provide some of the things you learn in yfc.
Glad to be of service :)... I'm just saying, guy C4 is so close =S and like, Dur-ham doesn't really have that many people... so yeah... Let's do it up in 2007 :)...
